check for Embedded or non-embedded fonts - Adobe Acrobat Windows

Using Acrobat 4.0 I need to check PDFs that I receive to be sure the person that created the PDF embedded all the fonts. In Acrobat, in the drop-down menu, File > Doent Info > Fonts should all the fonts that appear on the left side under "Original Font" also appear under the column titled "Used Font" if they are embedded? If there is a font listed on the left under Original Font and for that font nothing is listed under Used Font, does that mean the font is not embedded? Does it matter what the Encoding column says? Thanks ...

The second item generally means you have not scanned through the whole doent so that AA can determine what the font is doing. Scan all the way through the doent and then recheck the fonts. If they are not shown as embedd then, come back.

Ahah! That worked! Thank you very much! I scanned through the whole doent and then the list filled in with all the fonts. With Acrobat 4.0 can I count on the "Embedded Subset" in the used font list being accurate or should I use a program like "pdffonts"?(http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/download.html)
