Yes its possible to do this.

[note: include the . and the * in your URL]

However, if you read that post above, you will see that doing this is not
exactly the best thing to do in the long run.

Default check screen resolution and redirect

    Hi guys,

Is there such an extension? I've been referred to a few sites but I can't find one. Do you know where I can find this?

If a user's resolution is set to 800x600, I want a specific page to load. If their resolution is set to 1024X768, I want a different page to load.

    Thank-you very much

    artane,

You been here long enough to have seen the numerous threads about this:
The *screen resolution* has nothing at all to do with the dimensions of
    the browser window. Nill. Zilch.

    I have 1280 x 1024 and I rarely have a browser window open that's wider
than 800px since I have chosen that to keep an eye on all other
wndows/applications I have running at the same time. And you bet I'm not
    unique.

So, if I go to your page, you will throw a page at me that will force me
to change my (perfect) window width? *Not* a good idea.

Design for 800 width (or rather 750-760), and everyone will join hands
and sing of joy and happiness....

Available screen resolution has little-to-nothing to do with a person's
browser size. Please note that before doing something like this.

And what if their resolution isn't either one of those? What happens
when the user, like me, has a 1280x1024 display but rarely has a
browser window wider than about 770 pixels?
