Chrome the TEXT???

Found it BUT DOESNT work well.....
I just found that we can add chrome to text/image via the filter/effect submenu: chrome, BUT the result is not what I expected.
I want the result like <http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/effects/highlighted-chrome/>
* but this is photoshop tut teaching u step by step to make the chrome....

Looks like a brushed finish to me. Chrome tends to have a very high reflection.

Here's kind of a quick & dirty way to make a simple chrome style which you can thereafter apply with one click to live text:
