Forget the soap. Use a very soft cloth slightly dampened with plain
water. Then wipe dry with another soft cloth. In the USA we have a
brand of paper towels called "Bounty." They are ideal for this purpose;
perhaps you have a brand of very soft paper towels available to you, as
well.
I also use this method for my spectacles and for the plastic rear
window of my roadster. The roadster is 11 years old and the rear window
is as clear as when it was new.

Three basic rules about cleaning LCDs:> can I use a moisturized tissue I also use to clean my spectacles? Or should

* The front polarizer is usually unprotected, and typically has a 2H
hardness (yes, that's 2H as in pencil grades). Make sure you use a
*clean* cloth, because dust can be harder than 2H.
* Do not use cleaners that contain ammonia or chlorine (this
eliminates most window cleaners), ketones, methyl ethyl choride, &c.
* Antistatic cleaning products are useful.
There are prepackaged towelette products sold specifically for
cleaning LCDs, for example <http://www.photodon.com/csc.htm#lcdwipes>.
