Default Client variable problem w/ CMX 7

For the last two weeks I have been getting this error from time to time:

Element "SomeVariable" is undefined in CLIENT

The weird thing is the only way to fix this is to restart the Server and by
that I mean a hard boot of the machine just resetting the services does not
    work.

    the error is :
    --------------------------------------------------------------
Element LEVELID is undefined in CLIENT.

The error occurred in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DevSite\tool\Doc_admin.cfm: line 573

    571 : <TD CLASS="text3pt" ALIGN=CENTER>

    572 :

    573 : <cfif Client.LevelID LT 2><INPUT TYPE="checkbox" NAME="Display"
    VALUE="1"></cfif>

    574 :

    575 : </TD>
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, CLIENTMANAGEMENT="Yes" in the application file.

Yes, I have tried to set it to ClientStorage = "Registry" and "Cookie" but it
didn't help so I deleted the ClientStorage string since it never had it before.

Yes, I have tried setting it = to 1.

I haven't changed the code in months and my ISP that houses the dedicated
Server can't find a problem. It seems like something is turning off Client
variables. I am wondering if this is a Coldfusion server 7 setting I need to
set and I am just missing it. Or Coldfusion server 7 is having issues with
Client variables or needs a patch or something.

    Any Suggestions?????

    thanks,

    Dan

Default Re: Client variable problem w/ CMX 7

After a bunch of poking around it turns out in ColdFusion Server Administrator
(which I paid my ISP CrystalTech's Dedicated Server Support to setup in the
same manner they configure MX7 for their other servers) the "Server Settings >
Client Variables" under "Select Default Storage Mechanism for Client Sessions"
was set to the System registry. I added a Client Variable Storage Database and
    the problem was solved.

CrystalTech's Dedicated Server Support was no help on this so if you're having
this problem I hope you find this.

    good luck,
