Clock keeps reseting to 24 hour format?? - Mac Applications & Software

I had this problem before but now it's everyday!! I keep reseting to 12hr format, in International>Time pref but it keeps going back to 24 style. Running 10.2.6....

    I had this problem before but now it's everyday!!

    I keep reseting to 12hr format, in International>Time pref but it keeps going
    back to 24 style.

    I love my Grandfather clock but if I had to listen to him strike 24, I
    would probably silence his chimes for good :-)
