clone aix 4.3

i try to clone a aix 4.3.3 from an 7043 box to a 6c1 .
i boot from the CD :
Start Maintenance Mode ...
Install from System Backup ...
as described in the ibm installation guide : cloning considerations
but then i get the following error :

"an invalid disk ( 04-C0-00-4,0 ) was specified in the location of the data
file"

when i continue to install it completes the installation from tape and cd
but when rebooting, the system stops with LED 554 .

what is going wrong ? do i need a diskette with bosinst.data file modified
and if, how is it created ?

What version of the AIX 433 CD are you using ? The 610 needs AIX 433
at RML09 or CD AIX Version 4.3.3 Boot media: AIX 4.3.3 5765-C34 dated
9/2001 (CD# LCD4-0286-07) or later.
