Clone, eraser, healing tool not working

    Default Clone, eraser, healing tool not working

    Suddenly the clone, eraser, healing tool, pencil, paintbrush are not working in PS7 (os Win XP). All other items on the tool bar are working, however. This is a new one to me. Any ideas? (BTW, I was receiving the same message as Tommy Oberst stating that I "have primary scratch and windows primary paging on the same volume", but turning off my pop-up control software seems to have solved that problem, but not my clone problem. I scanned for the Blaster worm - negative.

    Can you be more specific about "not working"? Create a new image. Draw a rectangle with the marquee tool. Fill it with foreground. Click on the eraser tool and erase - what happens?

    The message about the scratch disk is nothing. It's informational only. See this:
