    Hi, Lee. You have to be sure that the 3D members are in state = 4. Some
    people had cloning errors even with the state = 4 and they told that the
    solution was to do a resetWorld()

    on mouseUp
    if member("tank").state = 4 and member("shark01").state =4 then

    newModel = member("tank").cloneModelFromCastMember("SharkClon e","Shark",
    member("shark01"))

    else
    --preload your members and try to clone them again.
    end if

    Something like that...

    hi Agustin,

    i have a INITIALIZE script from the director third dimenstion book to check
    for state 4,
    but i figured out why it work and then then doesnt. i am using 3DPI, and
    when thats running it clones fine, turn it off and no error now but no
    clone.

    would you place the resetworld() in a end movie script handler?

    cheers
    lee
