We create forms using Acrobat and only display the form description in the titlebar and the message "Press CTRL+P to Print" so the user does not see the menu or the toolbar by default when Adobe Reader is launched. Adobe Reader is launched from within our app and our app suspends processing until Adobe Reader is closed.

Right now, the user has to press CTRL+P to print the pdf form and then click on the 'X' in the top right hand corner of the Adobe Reader window to close Adobe Reader after printing.

I would like to close Adobe Reader automatically after the user presses CTRL+P to print. Is there anyway to do it?

Is this something that cannot be done? If that is true, then is it possible to run a script that would do the same as pressing CTRL+P to print (popup the print options dialog) and then close Adobe Reader and put that code in a button on the form?

TIA,
Tracy
