CMYK - NOT greyscale - from MS Word
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right NG, but here is the
problem.
I have a table that has been done in MS Word (actually, I have hundreds
of them, not created by myself). Just a simple table, with some rules,
no fills, and text, of course. I'm using Mac OSX, latest release. I
want to save the table as a PDF so I can insert it into an InDesign
document, so I use the Print dialogue in OSX, and make the PDF.
Everything is great, except the resulting table is a CMYK object. I can
open it in Illustrator and convert it to greyscale, but am wondering if
there would be any way to avoid this step.
Maybe I should be posting this on a Word NG.
Any ideas appreciated.
Many thanks,
Paul Harris

WEll - this does come as good news for some people .... CMYK is better
