Cocoa exporting a doent to another type - Mac Programming

    Yes, and believe it or not, SKETCH's menus are ALSO dimmed. ARGH!

    I've rebooted already (for other reasons). It's very consistent, unfortunately.

    Aha. But that's because you are choosing the wrong menu item. In Sketch,
    don't choose File > Save. Choose File > Save A Copy As. I bet this has
    been working all along in your app and you didn't even notice! :) m.

    No, I have been selecting "Save As" in both my app and Sketch - and they're dimmed.

    I didn't say Save As. I said Save A Copy As. m.

    Argh! My kingdom for some reading glasses....That IS rather subtle,
    though.
    Why do they put them dimmed out in the "Save As" dialog, then? Sounds
    like a confusing UI to me.

    Thanks, that works, I can ship the stupid thing, now.
