Default Cold Fusion 7 and Linux ODBC

With cold fusion 7 install on redhat enterprise 4 how can you attach to a ODBC
data source that is install on the same linux box? Unlike the windows install
of coldfusion there is no option to select the ODBC Socket for the driver type.
I am working with a very non standard database and have a linux ODBC driver for
the database but no way to connect to it. If you select other for data type in
cf administrator it wants a JDBC driver. Would I need a JDBC that would allow
cf to comunicate with ODBC drivers? Any help would be appreciated.

    You'll need a jdbc-odbc bridge:
