Re: Cold Fusion MX 7 Install Error
I've never seen this, so my only GUESS would be that there was some problem in
the web server connection set up? Does CF work with IIS correctly? There is a
seperate exe you can use to try and set up the web server connection (I think
something like wsconfig.exe). If this is present, try using this exe to set up
your web server connection and see if you get the same error messages.

Re: Cold Fusion MX 7 Install Error
when we did our upgrade we had a similar issue - but it only had 1 non-critical
error
ANT Script Error:
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - standalone.xmljava.io.FileNotFoundException:
C:\CFusionMX7\tmpmove.bat (Access is denied)
What I found was that during an UPGRADE, it would not properly write files to
the INET's CFIDE folder if CFIDE already existed.
The way we worked around it was to uninstall the upgrade attempt, make a copy
of the CFIDE directory in INET, delete the CFIDE directory, and then re-attempt
the upgrade.
Since all the previous settings are pulled from the old CFMX6 directory &
Registry, you should not have an issue. If you had anything installed in the
CFIDE directory "after the fact" (i.e custom tags) in CF6, then you can copy it
over from the copy you made.
That's how our experience went.

Re: Cold Fusion MX 7 Install Error
HI,
we did resolve the issue, we found the windows 2003 service pack 1 to be the
problem, now if microsoft is to blame or macromedia I do not know, but when we
unistalled the SP1 the installation worked just fine

Martin
