Coldfusion MX7 installation help
I downloaded the coldfusion-70-win.exe from the macromedia. When I tried to
install it, it asked me to select temperory place for install (InstallAnywhere)
and extracted to more than 4G when the disk space runs out. Did Idownload the
right file or something wrong?
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Coldfusion MX7 installation help
I also downloaded coldfusion-70-win.exe (although I expected it to be
coldfusion-701-win.exe, since its supposed to have the 7.0.1 updated already
applied). The installer just kept asking me to select a different temporary
location for the installer no matter what directory I selected. I have over 50
Gb of free space. I had 7.0 (on XP) but deleted it to do a clean install with
the updater already applied). Now I'm stuck without any CF. Any ideas. Thanks.

Re: Coldfusion MX7 installation help
Did you verify the checksum of the downloaded file? They are posted on the
download page.

Some people have experienced problems due to some type of file corruption
during the http download process. Although the final file size is correct the
checksum is wrong. If your file is corrupt, you might try downloading the .exe
from an alternate ftp site to see if you can get a good copy of the file. The
ftp address is posted at the top of this thread:

It sounds like MM may be posting an alternate FTP address on the download page
soon, but they may not have done it yet.
