ColdFusion MX7 intermittant crashing
We've recently upgraded our development server from 6.1 to 7 and have
experienced some issues that I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience
with. We're currently running MX7 on a RedHat 7.2 server.
We've noticed that after a couple of days use ColdFusion will crash and have
to be restarted. We've been able to alleviate this by switching from the new
J2SDK that ships with ColdFusion to JSDK 1.4.0_01. This solves the crashing
problem but causes any RDS communication via DreamWeaver to slow down to the
point of unusability. When we switch back to the new J2SDK then the problems
with RDS communication dissapear but then ColdFusion crashes every few days
again.
Any ideas/observations/solutions?
If needed I can post some of our log files detailing the crash.
Thanks in advance
