Coldfusion Server will not start after Crystal ReportsXIR2 installation
We are running ColdFusion version 4.51 (service pack 2) on a Windows
2000 server, with IIS 5.
We recently started using Crystal Reports 11.5 (CRXIR2) to serve
reports on one of our web sites on this server. The issue we
encounter is that when the Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .NET 2005
Server is installed on that machine, the ColdFusion Application Server
service will not re-start. As a result, if the ColdFusion service
stops for any reason, or if the server is re-booted, then the
ColdFusion Application Server service will not start.
We have found that if we uninstall Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .NET
2005 Server, then the ColdFusion service is able to start.
Does anyone know of any other 'fix' in order to avoid this situation,
or perhaps a workaround to start the ColdFusion Application Server
service without having to uninstall Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .NET
2005 Server?
Thanks in advance.
