Coldfusion Submission to MySQL DB "£" sign interpreted incorrectly?
Hi,
I have noticed that certain characters are not being submitted to my db
correctly, I originally wrote a function to convert all of the coded
characters back to their real life counter-parts however this will mean
placing the function on every page that interacts with the db.
i figure this is something to do with mysql not liking the "£" symbol, and
jus thought there was something i might be able to do via coldfusion to
remove this glitch?
Many thanks,
Moss
