Physically possible, yes.

If you get the CD pack, for Windows & Linux, it comes with a 'One Box
Install' DVD.

The docco clearly states that a single box install should be considered
for eval as performance on a single box may not be sufficient for
production.

Based on experience, I would not attempt a single box install without
that DVD. However, with the DVD the install is very smooth.

Hellos,
I understand that the Oracle Internet Directory supperuser id is
cn=orcladmin and password is welcome,but i tried this username and
password while installing midtier,
I am installating oracle 9i collaboration suite
during installation of middle tier after supplying
existing ias single sign-on
host name and port number, i press next at the next
screen it prompted me for user name: cn=orcladmin
password: i entered welcome default password
according documentation it did not go, how do i know
the oracle directory admin password.
i have been on this since tuesday,i have installed the
infrastucture,the mail server,the file server remaining midtier.But i
am getting stuck on midtier installation
