Collecting fonts within Illustrator files

Good morning.

I am having the same issue over and over it seems like. I am using InDesign 2.02 and Illustrator 10.0.3. I am placing AI files into InDesign, but any time I package the job, it does not seem to collect any fonts from the Illustrator file.
I have been preflighting jobs for several years now, most of it with Quark and Illlustrator 8/9. I have realized that when you save and Illustrator EPS with "Include Document Fonts" checked it will list the fonts as "Stored" in Flightcheck and not available for collection.
With an AI file if the "Embed All Fonts (acceptable for other applications)" the fonts are listed as "Stored" and unavailable. But when I uncheck the box, the fonts will not view in InDesign or print and are still unavailable for collecting.
What can I do to make sure that each job I send out is a complete package?

Do a search on Collect or output in this forum. I seem to rememeber someone metioning a plugin by someone.

It is called Scoop it works great it also collects pictures and etc. I believe you can get it at the Adobe Exchange.

Scoop and Scoop X is by Doug Habben at the Adobe Exchange Doug has few good plug ins there the exchange is always the first place to look for plug ins.
