Color Profile for Nikon camera
I am using a Nikon D100 camera and I have the color mode set on the camera for Adobe Colors. When I try to bring in a photo from that camera into Photoshop it recognizes a Nikon Color Profile but I have to manually tell Photoshop to accept the Nikon profile. Anyway to have it automatically accept the Nikon Color Profile when starting a photo from that camera?

Re: Color Profile for Nikon camera
Sure, just set your CM policies to "Preserve Embedded Profiles" and uncheck the "Ask When Opening" box.

GREAT! Thanks. It took me a minute to figure out where the CM Policies were to change to "Preserve Embedded Profiles"

Re: Color Profile for Nikon camera
My Photoshop CS5 opens photos from my Nikon Coolpix 5000 using sRGB where I'm sure years ago on Pshop 6 under Mac OS9 it used to open with a camera profile.
This page from Adobe offers a Photoshop Plugin called 'Ignore EXIF Color Space plug-in' which explains what's happening and offers a solution:

Hope that helps!Unregistered Guest
