Color shift issue
I have an Illustrator CS file (v11.0) which uses a transparency effect
(drop shadow) and is placed in an InDesign CS (v3.0.1) document on top
of a colored box in the background. I've PostScripted and PDF'd the
file (Acrobat CS v6.0.3) using high resolution settings suitable for
print publication. On screen, everything looks normal, but when I print
the PDF to my color printer (Canon ColorPass Z7000) there is a
noticeable shift in the color of the background which corresponds to
the areas that have been rasterized by the transparency flattener.
Anybody else seen this? Is this most likely a failing of my Canon
printer or is this an issue that will crop up on the plates?
Thanks in advance.
