Color swatch gone wonky

    Default Color swatch gone wonky

    System Spec
    OS 9.1, G3 400, Photoshop 6.0

One of our macs started up with a bizarre problem.

Color images and the swatches within PS6 seem to have lost the capability to display a color (blue?).

It affects both images files and palettes that contain color - swatches etc.

e.g. the default swatches palette is mostly purple and green

At first I thought the monitor was playing up, but the color in all other applications are fine.

Firstly I trashed preferences - no joy

Then did a re-install - still no joy

    Any info would be appreciated

    Duncan,

At first I thought the monitor was playing up, but the color in all other
    applications are fine.

Have you read the FAQs? This may well apply to your problem:

Mark Hiers "Colors in Photoshop all wrong but OK in other apps. (Was "Whites appear yellow.")" 9/16/03 8:54am </cgi-bin/webx?50@@.eea0088>

Additionally, did you apply the Photoshop 6.0.1 update?

    Thanks Ramón,

    It was the profile.

I did search through previous threads, but not the FAQs

    Apologies

No problem, Duncan. I only asked if you had read the FAQs in case you had and the solution given there did not apply to your problem. Glad you got it corrected.
