Default Colors not printing correct in Freehand MX

I am using OSX with Freehand MX. I use a HP Business Inkjet 2600. Colors do not
print our correctly. Does anyone know any tricks for matching the colors right
with the printer? If I take the same PMS color and print it out of Quark 6, it
prints perfect. System 9 with Freehand 8 never had a problem.

This printer does not need RIP software. It is built in postscript. Why does
Quark print colors fine and Freehand does not?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

You are not alone. Edit the preferences, click all those tabs, you'll find the colors.

Try checking your prefs. If Colour Management is 'on', try turning it 'off'
before printing and see if that helps. If it is 'off' try turning it 'on' and
ensuring the printer and monitor profiles match those that you are using in
    XPress.
