colors on xterm - Sun Solaris

Hi, On my linux box I have colors in the command prompt. directories are one color files are another soft links are a third. Can solaris do this also? and If so how? we are using bash 203 as our shell thanks zaa...

    On my linux box I have colors in the command prompt.

    Yes, you can use colors, you havo to use gls.

    Yes, you need an ls that does color (such as the one from the GNU
    fileutils) and a terminal window that supports color output (xterm
    in Solaris 9 and later, dtterm on Solaris 2.6 and later, the
    XFree86 xterm, or rxvt).
