Colour problem FHMX > PSCS
I am designing some icons to XP specs, using the XP colour palette. I am tying
to use gradients and gaussian blur to add the necessary depth. When I copy and
paste the artwork into PS the colours in the gradient transition are not even
remotely the same. Lime greens are khaki and whites are grey. The gaussian
blurs are undescribably different. Are gradients and effects -
blur/transparency/shadow not meant to be converted into raster formats as I'm
trying to do? Can anybody advise on how to get better results if this is a
valid use of these effects?
I am using FHMX (11.0 I think - cant find in Help/About), PSCS V.8.0, Win 2K.
TIA,
Adam.
