Colour settings for Highlighter Tool and Underline Text Tool
I am using ACROBAT STD 7.0.1 on Tiger.
As I often read scientific PDF files, I would like to use additional colours for the Highlighter (yellow) and Underline Text (green) Tools.
Are there any plug-ins available which would allow me to do this?
Perhaps there is even a way to change the colours settings within the programme which I have failed to spot?
Many thanks

Re: Colour settings for Highlighter Tool and Underline Text Tool
I'm not sure about Acrobat Standard, but in Acrobat Pro, if you right- or Control-click on highlighted or underlined text, you will see a context menu. Select "Properties..." from the context menu and then click on the "Appearance" button. In the "Appearance" panel you'll see a "Color:" button which, when clicked, allows you to set whatever color you like for the feature.

Colour settings for Highlighter Tool and Underline Text Tool
The color setting in 'properties' sets the color profile of the document for printing. It has no effect on either the text color or the underline.
In the 'text' tab the color square only affects the color of the text. I have just searched for ways to change the default underline color (why did Adobe make it green?) and so far no method has come to light.Unregistered Guest
