Default Combining and manipulating PDFs - macro scripting tool, SDK, solution ?

    New to manipulating PDFs.

We have a reporting solution that produces a folder of multi-page PDF files.

We want to consolidate these into a single PDF "pack" in a scheduled automated fashion. Ideally we are looking to run a script or macro that will also manipulate (re-order and delete) individual bookmarks or thumbnails while consolidating them and then apply a layer of page numbering over the resulting "pack".

Is there an Adobe tool, SDK, partner solution that will enable us to deliver this requirement.

    Thanks very much in advance
