Is there a way to toggle the commenting of a line of code while breaking in the debugger? It seems that I have to stop the movie to close the debugger mode and then comment the lines I need to comment. -- Craig Wollman Word of Mouth Productions phone 212 724 8302 fax 212 724 8151 www.wordofmouthpros.com...

In The Debugger mode there is a option called "go to handler" which helps
you to add .....

Ah, but that doesn't do anything when you are at a breakpoint. I still have
to stop the movie or use the F5 key to continue out of the debugger.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just write bug-free code to start with? <g>
How about using "if the shiftDown then ..." at the start of each line you may or
may not want to execute?

Ok, it was a simple question that referenced a previous version of director
where there was a keyboard shortcut to add or remove comments where the
cursor was in the script.

Actually, Andrew, I do write bug-free code myself. This question was for a
"friend."

And also, I (I mean my "friend") uses the option-command-shift down so much
for debugging that he starts to forget when it is used where and for what.
