Common Access Cards break the Scheduler
Hello All,
I am having problems with the cold fusion scheduler. The cause is quite
simple but I haven?t been able to come up with a solution. I work for the
government and our web site now requires Common Access Card (CAC) certificates
to access our web site.
The scheduler can?t run its own web pages because it doesn?t have CAC
certificates. Unfortunately it is serious security violation to load
certificates onto the server so it could access itself. I can?t believe no one
has ever found this problem so I must be missing something simple. Is there an
option I am missing on the cold fusion server? Is there an option on the IIS
server? Perhaps a security white list so it will trust itself?
We tried using our unsecured development server and pointing a data source to
the databases on the secured server. Unfortunately it appears that data sources
can only point to Access databases on the local drives.
Suggestions?
Sincerely,
Drew
