Compatibility between Acrobat 8.0 printer and CUPS 1.2.7
I updated my CUPS version to 1.2.7, then now when I want to print using the Adobe PDF 8.0 printer, then job start and I get an error then the printer is in the stop mode.
The error given if I look with the <http://localhost:631> is the following:
/usr/libexec/cups/backend/pdf800 failed
Did anyone of you can give me some info?
Thanks
Olivier

Re: Compatibility between Acrobat 8.0 printer and CUPS 1.2.7
Try deleting the Adobe PDF 8.0 printer using the Printer Setup Utility, then reinstall it by choosing Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.

Re: Compatibility between Acrobat 8.0 printer and CUPS 1.2.7
I tried, and I still have the same error:
The printer start to do something.
I can see that it say "Opening Distiller" and the status is "printing"
Then the status go to "error" and the printer stop.
May some of you know if I can find some log.
