components not working
I am continuously having trouble with components not functioning as they
should in one of my Flash files. When I use, say the UI Scrollbar or the
password text field components in a new/otherwise empty file, they function
properly with no hassle. When I copy them into my existing file, they no
longer work. The scroll bar arrows/sliderbar do not show up and the
password field shows the actual letters typed instead of ***.
Any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks

Re: components not working
Maybe when you paste them into the new file symbols of the same name are in
each file. And thus causing the buttons not to work properly! bygeorge

Re: components not working
Another thing that may cause this is if you are working with a Flash MX
file and copying from a Flash MX 2004 file, (or the other way around too
I suppose).
