Compression?
When exporting a pdf from Quark Xpress, should I use the compression (jpg/zip) if the file is to be printed? I have been using no compression but the files are huge and I'm wondering if you lose detail in the photos if you compress.

Re: Compression?
There is never any reason to turn compression completely off. Flate
compression is completely lossless. JPEG can be suitable if carefully
evaluated for your purposes. But the resolution settings are even more
important.
