Computer hangs after login
When logging into XP sometimes the computer hangs after I
have entered my user, pwd and domain. It just sits there
with "Loading personal settings" displayed on the screen.
It has sometimes taken 10 login attempts to actually
login properly.
Can anyone help?

Your computer is probably waiting to try and connect to network drives or find network resources and so is influenced by the speed of the network...
