configuring an rds server in report builder
Hi All,
I am having trouble configuring an rds server when trying to set up the app.
Here is the scenario. I have access to multiple ColdFusion servers that show up
on my machine as network drives. Usually, I just build CF pages out in DW and
load them up on the server. To try and use this app I did install CF dev
version on my machine so I could install the reports builder. All the databases
are on a seperate server, which I can always query when building a ColdFusion
page. I can't seem to configure an rds server properly in the report builder
app, even when I input the IP address in the name field of a particular CF
server I want , It would map, but I get no file structure or anything., and it
would tell me it connected but the server is not password protected. Not sure I
am even doing this correct. Any help would be much appreciated. I did post this
in the reporting forum, and someone suggested I post here as well.
Thanks,
Steve
