Configuring DNS manually
My colleagues here have installed a Win2K3 server while I
was away and setup AD without installing DNS service on
the server. So while running the AD wizard they chose to
configure DNS manually, the users, groups, etc have been
migrated from the old NT4 server using ADMTv2. Now we need
to set up DNS on the DC and create the DNS domain zone.
What reference material is available on choosing
Configuring DNS manually (Advanced) when setting up AD or
what advise can be given before embarking on this?
Thanks for any assistance.
Jack.

Re: Configuring DNS manually
Thanks for the info. I have read through these and I am
studying them now. just one more question will these apply
in a case where AD has already been set up? To me they all
seem to be applicable to pre-AD setup.
Once more thanks for the support.
