Confirm CFForm - Coldfusion Flash Integration

I know alert() function is available to cfforms. I also understand confirm() did not ship in this release. I have a delete button on a form and I use Javascript to ask the user to confirm their delete action. Has anyone else had this need and come up with a solution? -- Thanks Ian O'Betz www.premier-ed.com...

alert() seems to work, and you can pass in additional parameters

<cfinput type="button" value="Next" label="Next" name="nextTabBtn"
onclick='
_root._myAlert = alert("Hello.", "Say Hi", OK | CANCEL);'/>

However, how we can register an event listener to determine if "Ok" or
"Cancel" was clicked - I have no idea.

A confirmation, or in the meantime, an alert modified to work as a confirmation
is such a basic need for flash forms. I can't imagine Macromedia shipping MX7
without this???. I've tried everything short of backing out of using
flashforms -- which is what I'll probably do unless someone can figure out how
to add a listener for the alert YES|NO . Anyone out there have a solution?

I have yet to come up with a solution for this. I'm still working on it.
Here is the closest code I've come up with:

<cfinput type="button" name="test" value="Confirm" onclick="if
(alert('Confirm please...','WARNING',YES|NO) == NO) {testview.text =
'submit'}" />
<cfinput name="testview">

This is what I've used to test.

Did you ever get this working??? Was this if statement working for you?

That never sets the value to 'submit' for me. Even when I click YES, it still isn't set to 'submit'.

Thanks,

Check this post for an example of an alert with confirmation:
