Confusion between Jscript and Javascript

Can someone explain here what is the difference if any between JScript with
extentions .js and Javascript.

I am trying to do a site and cant get a .js to render in my dreamweaver site.

I have set up a Dreamveaver site using Coldfusion.

The homepage has 3 layers. The first layer and the thirds layer are JScript
that suppose to force the explorer to view 2 flash files to be show in each
layer repectively.

The problem is that the flash files do not show up in the layers. There is
nothing wrong with the Flash files, so I am assuming there is a problem with
JScript.

Another thing.. This nlu happens in the Local Coldfusion Developer. I have downloader the site and it works fine in a remote server.

Did you upload the scripts folder and its internal js file?

You need to load the Scripts folder onto the testing server.
