Connect to RAS server in OS X?
I've read somewhere that Macs can connect to a Windows RAS server. I'm
not sure where that would happen but I tried Internet Connect in 10.2.6.
It never connected and I was searching MacWindows, OSXHints, Google, to
find out how.
I discovered that OS 8.5 could do so, but surely Jaguar can?
I'm hoping to know the procedure so I don't spend a weekend locking
myself out all weekend with the login safeguards we have at work.
thanx, sam

Show: Internal Modem
Tab: TCP/IP
Configure: Using PPP
Tab: PPP
Account name: windows_domain_name\username
Password: ooooooooooo
Telephone #: 123-456-7890
Tab: Proxies - set as you were at work.
Tab: Modem - configure as needed for your phone line
The only other thing is that I think your windows_domain_name\username
account at work, must allow remote access. I know that at my company we
had to get permission to have the remote access flag set on our account.
