Connecting G5 to a TV - Mac Applications & Software

I am thinking of ordering a G5 but have only the money to buy the machine plus software. I want to replace my 3 year old imac. Since I have an Imac, I haven't looked in connecting computers to a TV (I live in Japan and my house is the size of two bedrooms so alot of my friends who have IBMs do this). So What hardware do I need ??? an ADC to a red, yellow, white output ???...

Apple mentions a 'DVI to Video Adapter' on

No word on price.

Very little is known about the G5. Once they are on the market for a
couple of months and thousands of people own them--questions like the one
you asked will be easy to answer.

Look at the right side of this web site:

http://www.apple.com/powermac/graphics.html

Connect with S-video and RCA (composite) connectors
You can also order a new adapter designed specifically for the Power Mac
G5, the Apple DVI to Video Adapter. This new connector works only with
the DVI port on each of the graphics cards designed for the Power Mac
G5. It allows you to preview your work by connecting to S-video and
composite devices like TVs, VCRs and overhead projectors with
S-video or RCA (composite) connectors.

Also, a DVI to VGA adapter is included. So if you want to hook up a VGA
monitor simultaneously with the TV, you'll need another adapter that
will convert ADC to DVI (I think)
