Conribute CS3 - Mac - FlashPaper
O.K. so I downloaded and installed a trial version of Contribute CS3 because it
is supposed to come with (and install) a FlashPaper print driver which allows
one to print any doc to a PDF or SWF file. No diver was installed, even after I
rerinstalled it.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: Conribute CS3 - Mac - FlashPaper
I had this same issue. Downloaded the whole damn thing which took forever and
it's supposed to come with a print driver allowing you to print from "any
document" - According to the site however, it's only available on "Contribute"
and not "Contribute CS 3" - See
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_16582#flashpaper,
where they say "FlashPaper 2 for Windows comes with Contribute 3 and above or
as a stand-alone product. FlashPaper 2 for Macintosh is available only with
Contribute. Contribute CS3 does not come with FlashPaper."
In other words, I guess you have to download one of the earlier versions of
Contribute, but I can't find any of those available on the Adobe website or
elsewhere. Does anyone know how to download, say, Contribute 3 or 4 WITHOUT
CS3?
Thanks!

Re: Conribute CS3 - Mac - FlashPaper
Hey Dave,
I found a solution (through much browsing of the poorly archived Adobe site)
and found this:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en%5Fus&product=captivate
You can download "Contribute 4" there (scroll down to download JUST that
feature, selecting "Mac," etc.). I installed it on my Mac OS X 10.4.10 and it
works great (printed directly from an .rtf and the "Flashpaper" option comes up
in the print dialogue).
Good luck!
