Cont 3.1 & PHP
Hi
I provide IT support for a school. They currently have a website which
teachers would like to start making updates to. . Unfortunately the person who
created the website is no longer available.
The person who designed the website recommended that the school use Contribute
and that it was easy to setup.
I am the lucky person who has been given the job! I only know simple HTML.
I have installed the software and configured the site but when I connect to
some of the pages I am unable to edit the content. After searching the forums
it looks like the reason for this is because the site was designed in PHP.
First can you please tell me if the site does use PHP, or can I simply rename
the extensions to htm?
If it is PHP how hard is it to setup these "includes" I have seen about on the
forums?
The website address is www.glenaeon.nsw.edu.au (yes its not pretty). Then
click the picture and it will take you to the about page which is php.
Many thanks
David
