Contibute 2 and 3
I am trying to have a contribute user replace a file to the server with the
same name...therefore not break a link to a swf file. It seems that contribute
adds a _000 to the file name even thought the contribute user saves the file
with the exact same name. Is there any way around this?
Thanks,
Nancy

Re: Contibute 2 and 3
The user needs to have the permission - "All users to delete the files
they have permission to edit", present in Edit role settings in your
administer dialog.

Re: Contibute 2 and 3
In Contribute 3 you can use File > Publish File from My Computer and select the
replace option (rather than "publish using a similar filename"). As far as I
can see that's the simplest way of avoiding the version numbers 000, 001 etc.,
and not breaking any links.
