When contributors edit files, they browse to the one they want (with no
trouble) they click on the 'Edit' button and make their changes (with no
trouble) but when they click on 'publish', it says the file doesn't exist. The
only way out is to cancel the draft (which you can still see fine) but when you
refresh the page in the browser, it says the page can't be found. By either
looking in Windows Explorer or the site map in Dreamweaver, you can see that
the file has been renamed to index.htm.new....you can't rename it to its
original name (it says 'the website/subfolder/subfolder folder does not exist.
Do you want to create it? and if you say yes, it just brings up the same
message)....but you can rename it to, say, index.html or default.htm - it just
won't let you rename it to what it originally was. I'm very very
confused....and any light you can shed on the matter would make it a whole heap
brighter than it is at the moment. Many thanks
