Contribute 3.1 crash on publish

A longtime user is experiencing a crash when she tries to publish. We are using
Contribute 3.1.

I recently updated her role to give her access to a new folder within the
site. The pages in that folder use a different template than the files she
previously edited. Also, I changed the role to show all stylesheets instead of
just a specific one. However, the crashing occurs even when editing a page in
that folder that uses no template or stylesheet. We double checked her folder
permissions and role settings and they are set correctly.

As administrator, I have no problem opening and editing files in that folder.

Anyone know what could cause the problem?

Our site is using v4.1 and it crashes when a file is published and then
reopened for editing. Don't know if it is related, but thought I would add
that to the mix as well. If enough people report problems, maybe Adobe will
come up with a solution.

We are having the exact same issue. We have tried everything from uninstalling
and reinstalling. and more.... But it crashes all the time when publishing the
page. Our site is using ColdFusion, and the Publisher, is only making textual
changes, and it still crashes.

Exactly the same for me. I use CS3 version 4 and am the sole user and therefore
the administrator. It crashes when I publish and also when I discard a draft.
It has just decided to do this after a few weeks away from my machine. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.
