This probably had nothing to do with Contribute, but more with your computer
config. What email-client do you use and that is the default client? Are the
account-settings OK?
Check if the mailto:emailadres@domain.com is OK yourself by looking at the
source code of the page or the link properties in Contribute.

If you are receiving 2 responses my apologies.
I think it is related to my setting my website email account to forward to my
main account. When I went to the website to see if it worked it didn't. I then
went back to my main email account and stopped the forwarding, tried the
website and it didn't work. ???

Send you an email using your mailto link. Seems to be working fine. You will have to check you email-client and the providers service pages.
