Contribute 3 freezes creating draft

I am Contribute 3 administrator of a web site that also has Contribute 2 users.
When I try to edit a page, Contribute 3 it freezes with the "Creating draft of
this page" progress bar about 3/4 along.
Force Quit shows it is not responding, and that is my only way to stop it.
The file is left checked out, so I have to use DreamWeaver to uncheck it.
Using Mac OS X 10.4.2.

This is exactly the same experience I am having. Came to forum to see if there
were any messages on this issue an saw yours. My experiences mirror yours.
Works fine with Dreamweaver but freezes at the last stage of creating a draft
and only a "force quit" will remedy the situation. Using 10.4.2 with all
updates, although the problem has been manifest for awhile. Dual processor G5,
2.5.
Works fine with my 10.3.9 system on seperate drive.

I am having the exact problem. Contribute worked fine until I bought a new
powerbook with system 10.4.3
Contribute 3.11 freezes about 80 percent of the way to "creating draft of this
page". If I let it go long enough, I get the "application suddenly quit"
message.

Does anyone have a solution?
