Contribute 3 on Windows Vista
My organization has a user who just purchased a laptop with the Vista OS. She
wants to install Contribute 3 on it, but the program will not even install.
Does anyone know if a custom install would work? Some of us here have wondered
if it's perhaps FlashPaper that's causing the issue and not really Contribute
itself. We are not in a position to upgrade to a version that is known to
install with Vista.

Re: Contribute 3 on Windows Vista
I just upgraded to Vista and was able to install Contribute 3; however, I
cannot get the connection to my web server via WebDAV to work. I downloaded a
trial of CS3, but have the same connection problem. I spoke to tech support
today and they couldn't help me because Contribute 3 is not the current version
and because I am only running a trial version of CS3. I did check with my
website host and have all of my login information correct. My questions is, is
Vista in some way blocking my connection? I can't figure it out, and remain
dead in the water, after over a month.

Re: Contribute 3 on Windows Vista
I have Contribute 4 and Win Vistas 32 and have been trying to install a trial
version of CS3 with no luck for a few weeks now. Tech help via email keeps
directing me to the forums and knowledge database even though I have informed
them I have already tried the suggested solutions. I have tried
regsvr32jscrilpt.dll at the command prompt but get a message that it "is not
recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am ready to move on and try another
product but wanted to give this one last try... I appreciate any help!
