Contribute 4 connection issues

:frown; I have read all the other forums to try and fix my problem. I
stupidly tried to change something in the permissions on our website using
Contribute 4 and now I can't access it at all. The FTP settings are good as I
can access them using coffeecup. I removed Contribute from the pc, reinstalled
and tried to make a connection to our website using the same access codes,
password etc and get to the remote pathway window on the connection wizard, it
comes up with the error " The server is unable to create a directory. Please
verify that you have sufficient permission to create a directory." I am very
frustrated with this system!!!!!! PLEASE - can someone help me !!? Our website
urgently needs updating and I cannot get into it.

Maybe it's also wise to contact your ISP and ask if they changes anything on
the server that could be the cause of this.

What did you change in setting permissions? Are you referring to the fact that
you are working with an older version of Contribute and changed permissions
using a trial version of en newer version Contribute? If you used a trial of
CS3 to administer a website managed by an older version of Contribute you have
a problem, after you administer a site in CS3 you cannot administer that site
anymore in the older version. That means you will have to upgrade or remove
veerythinh created by Contribute CS3 from your computer and the server (a bit
of a hassle, but is can be done).
