Contribute 4 Error message
:disgust; I am trying for the first time to open a flash file in contribute 4.
When I connect to my site, I receive a error message "you can't edit this page
because it wasn't found on the website or it is a directory listing".
Please be specific concerning a fix.
Thanks

Re: Contribute 4 Error message
I have also had loads of problems with Contribute 4 on MAC and PC:
I am just going back to Contribute 3
The errors I get are:
- you can't edit this page because it wasn't found ...
- cant connect to the server.... server is down
- the admin settings on the server went corrupt and we had to re-issue the
connection keys
- The first time you try and publish a page, or roll back it gives 'server is
down errors', and I know the server isn't down.

Re: Contribute 4 Error message
Hi Folks --
I had the same problem with "you can't edit this page because it wasn't found
on the website or it is a directory listing."
I solved it by going to "My Connections" and editing the connection for the
site involved. Apparently something wasn't set up right.
Since redoing the setup info, I can edit the pages without problem.
